The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is an institutional accreditor recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) that serves as an independent voice in higher education. The College of Human Development, Culture, and Media (CHDCM) is an Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) through June 30, 2024. CAEP’s scope of accreditation is the accreditation and preaccreditation of educator preparation providers (EPPs) that offer bachelor’s, master’s, and/or doctoral degrees, post-baccalaureate or other programs leading to certification, licensure, or endorsement in the United States and/or internationally. (2020). All programs within the CHDCM leading to New Jersey State certification are registered with the New Jersey Department of Education. Discipline and Program Recognition 

The Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology program is accredited by the American Psychological Association.  

The M.A./Ed.S. in Education Leadership, Management, and Policy is nationally recognized with conditions by the National Education Leadership Program. 

The Applied Behavior Analysis programs offer Verified Course Sequences through the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).  The programs include the coursework requirement for applying for the Board Certification Examination to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
