Level Up Your Creative Skills with the New Design Basics Course

Student writing in a notepad in front of a computer. As an Adobe Creative Campus, Seton Hall community members now have access to professional-grade, powerful design tools. While the Adobe apps enable the creation of great digital storytelling and data visualization, the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center recognizes that users will approach these dynamic tools with a wide range of experience in design concepts.

In an effort to expand equitable access to the Adobe resources, design experts Professor Christine Krus, Assistant Professor Christine Lhowe, M.F.A., and Ann Gallagher, art director for University Public Relations and Marketing, developed a course focused on basic design principles and best practices. Employing the help of Kate Sierra, instructional designer in the TLT Center, the course is delivered in a modular, interactive format that allows students to work through the content at their own pace.

About the Course
