I began teaching in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Seton Hall University in 1999 with the goal of educating a new generation of client-centered practitioners in a state-of-the-art master's program. I spent 20 years in clinical practice and managerial positions in adult rehabilitation and psychosocial practice prior to my arrival at SHU, including specialized experience with individuals with TBI, substance abuse, teen parenting and vocational programming.

My professional expertise and passion are closely aligned with innovative program development and emerging practice arenas, with an emphasis on lifestyle management for individuals with chronic disease states, fatigue conditions, complementary medicine and sleep. I am currently engaged in my doctoral research on breast cancer survivors experiencing prolonged cancer-related fatigue.
