Rev. Msgr. John Fell

Rev. Msgr. John N. Fell was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Metuchen in 1988. He has served in parishes in Hillsborough, Old Bridge, and Bernardsville, NJ.

Msgr. Fell serves as the Episcopal Vicar for the Healthcare Apostolate for the Metuchen Diocese. He serves on the Board of Governors, Ethics Committees, and various other committees of the St. Peter's Healthcare System in New Brunswick. He also serves as Director of Priest Personnel, Director of Seminarians, and Director of the Saint John Vianney House of Discernment for the Metuchen Diocese.

He is a regular columnist for The Catholic Spirit newspaper. He has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Convent Station.

Msgr. Fell completed his doctoral studies in Moral Theology at the Accademia Alfonsiana in Rome, writing his dissertation on "The Contributions of Christian Faith to Biomedical Ethics in the Writings of Stanley Hauerwas, Edmund Pellegrino, and Kevin O'Rourke."

In 2011, Pope Benedict XVI named him Chaplain to His Holiness with the title of Monsignor.
