Fredline M'Cormack-Hale, Ph.D.

Fredline M'Cormack-Hale has been with the School of Diplomacy and International Relations since 2008. Dr. M'Cormack-Hale teaches courses in the Africa specialization as well as introductory courses in International Relations. Her teaching and research interests include political development, gender, democratization and the international aid community.

A self-identified comparativist, with a regional focus on Africa, specifically, Sierra Leone, Dr. M'Cormack-Hale's current research agenda explores the role international organizations play in promoting democratization following state collapse during the process of reconstruction and rehabilitation.
