Parking Permits

Anyone wishing to park their vehicle on the South Orange campus MUST display a valid parking permit at all times.  

Types of Permits:

Other Permits

Other permits available include handicapped permits, guest permits, recreation center permits, and vendor/contractor permits.

All parking permits for the Seton Hall South Orange campus are issued by Parking Services. 

Parking permits can be purchased online or by completing an parking permit application and submitting it to Parking Services. 

Proper Display of Permit

Each type of permit must be displayed properly; failure to do so may result in the issuance of a ticket for improper display of permit. 

  • Hangtags
    The hangtag must be suspended from the rearview mirror with the number colored side facing out. It must not be obstructed from view. 
  • Window Decal
    The decal must be affixed to the outside of left rear window. Decals taped to the window are invalid. 
  • Dashboard Permit Placards
    The placard must be displayed on the driver’s side dash and clearly visible. Any obstruction that prevents Public Safety personnel from reading the information will result in a ticket. 
  • Motorcycles
    The permit must be affixed to the left front fork

Summer Session Permits

Parking regulations are enforced 24 hours, seven days a week, summer is no exception. Students enrolled in May Intersession, Summer 1 or Summer 2 courses who wish to park on the South Orange campus should purchase a Summer Permit. Summer Permits are valid from May 1 to August 31 of the year in which they were purchased. Parking is permitted between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. daily until the day following commencement when parking will be permitted 24 hours a day. 
  
Summer Permits are currently available at the Parking Services Office located in Duffy Hall.
