Admission Requirements Second Degree Accelerated B.S.N.

Seton Hall's second-degree Accelerated BSN program builds on your non-nursing college education to make the 14-month transition into nursing possible. While no previous healthcare experience is required to enroll, many incoming ABSN students have a background in biology, health sciences, or psychology. There’s also a lot of academic diversity within the program. We’ve had students who previously studied education, business, public policy, and so on before deciding to pursue nursing.

To be considered for admission to this undergraduate program, applicants must submit a completed application and:

  • A minimum of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution or WES evaluation (or equivalent);
  • All transcripts from all colleges/universities attended;
