Prospective Students Invited to Graduate Open House

Seton Hall University is set to host its Graduate Open House on February 24, 2024, offering prospective students an in-depth look at its wide range of graduate and certificate programs. Taking place 12-3:30 p.m. at Bethany Hall on Seton Hall’s South Orange campus, this event is an opportunity for students to explore the master’s and doctoral-level graduate programs that are available online and on campus. Attendees can delve into over 90 cutting-edge graduate programs, ranging from healthcare and law to data science and international relations, each opening doors to new career possibilities and personal growth.

The Open House will feature program-specific breakout sessions led by multiple schools, including the College of Arts and Sciences, Stillman School of Business, College of Human Development, Culture, and Media, College of Nursing, School of Theology, School of Health and Medical Sciences, School of Law and the School of Diplomacy and International Relations.

In addition to learning about academic programs, attendees can tour the beautiful South Orange campus, including the newly renovated University Center. Current students and alumni will be available to share their experiences at Seton Hall and how a graduate degree impacted their careers. 

"A graduate degree from Seton Hall increases an individual's adaptability to changing markets and technologies — whether they are seasoned professionals looking to advance their career or undergraduate students eager to continue their education," said Associate Provost for Academic and Graduate Affairs, Christopher Cuccia, Ed.D. "Our Graduate Open House is a unique opportunity because of its personalized nature, where prospective students can engage with members of the University community."

He added, "Students can learn how affordable Seton Hall is while also offering extensive industry and alumni connections." Representatives from the Office of Financial Aid will be available to discuss graduate assistantship and scholarship opportunities, including greater University-funded scholarships that will make a degree from Seton Hall even more economical for new graduate students. The Career Center will also be present to share resources dedicated to professional networking, resume development, interview preparation, and skill-building workshops tailored for graduate students.

Attendees who participate in the Graduate Open House and later apply to a graduate program will be granted an application fee waiver, further reflecting Seton Hall's commitment to facilitating access to quality education.
