Growing up in the United States and learning English second to her native language Gujarati, Nandini learned the necessity of cultural immersion in pursuing civic responsibilities. These responsibilities focus on becoming an informed citizen and spreading knowledge and opportunities for growth throughout the community. Nandini is actively involved in tutoring and mentoring younger students in her local community, advocating for emergency preparedness with the American Red Cross, and fundraising with the American Cancer Society. These opportunities to engage with pillars of her community inspired her to continue learning about other cultures and communities and serve them at home and abroad.

At Seton Hall University, Nandini studies international relations as well as Arabic language and culture. She looks forward to studying abroad in Morocco to practice her language skills and gather more insight on sovereignty and self-determination in the Western Sahara. Nandini is researching the interactions of global leaders and international organizations at the University's Diplomacy Lab in hopes of learning more about impactful leadership on an international scale. Her involvement in the Diplomacy Cohort as part of the Buccino Leadership Institute is an integral element in her studies and pursuit of strong leadership. The Cohort allows Nandini to explore specific challenges leaders face in achieving their goals and how to recruit and manage teams effectively. At the intersection of her passion for servant leadership and her studies as a diplomacy scholar, Nandini notes that diverse and inclusive leadership emphasizes the empowerment of individuals and provides opportunities for collective growth. Accordingly, this style of leadership highlights the difference between a successful organization and an impactful organization.

Nandini is a skilled problem solver, passionate about interdisciplinary legal studies and the pursuit of civic responsibilities.
