What do I need?

Anyone with a SHU ID card can add a Pirate's Gold account. Students, faculty, administrators and staff can all use Pirate's Gold. Parents can also add funds to their child's account. You need to know your child's SHU ID number (sometimes called a Campus Wide ID or CWID) to deposit funds.

How do I add money on my card? 

On Campus
Visit the Campus ID Office, 63 Duffy Hall, to add funds to your Pirate's Gold account.

Via the Web
You can deposit funds on your Pirate's Gold account with your credit or debit card using our secure Pirate's Gold online deposit form. If you are depositing funds on your child's account, you will need to know his or her SHU ID number.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Funds will be credited instantly to your account.

How long will my funds stay on my card?

Once a deposited is made into your Pirate's Gold account, you will never lose any unused funds nor will you be charged any fees. Active accounts remain open all year long and balances carry over each semester.

How do I close my account?

You can close your Pirate's Gold account at the end of the semester or upon withdrawal from the University. Please visit the Campus ID Office to close your account.
