General Administration
The Masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs, with a concentration in General Administration, is committed to preparing practitioners for positions in student affairs administration at the post-secondary level. The program offers a balance of classroom-based academic learning and field-based experiential learning opportunities.
The Program
The General Administration track offers a curriculum that broadens understanding of higher education in terms of organization and governance issues, policy analysis, legal issues, finance in higher education, and related fields. Through a strong focus on the theory and practice of educational administration, students will be become entry and mid-career leaders in their administrative professional career.

The faculty in the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media are expert researchers and practitioners in teacher and leader preparation as well as professional psychology and family therapy.
