Organizational Communication

The Organizational Communication area of study within the M.A. in Communication program prepares students for a seat at the management table. Our alumni are human resources associates, managers and vice presidents at various companies. 

Organizational Communication graduate courses focus on theory with real-world practice, ensuring success in a rapidly changing world. Focusing in this area of study prepares students to become expert leaders and strategic communicators across various organizations.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Mastery of both theoretical and empirical knowledge in the field of leadership communication.
  • Understand and effectively apply strategic communication and leadership concepts to organizational challenges.
  • Understand the legal, ethical and social responsibilities of leaders as communicators.
