Student Learning Objectives:
- Students will demonstrate proficient knowledge at the undergraduate level of one or more religious traditions and their histories.
- Students will demonstrate an understanding of how religious texts, ideas, practices, institutions, and communities shape and are shaped by contemporary debates related to human fulfillment.
- Students will be able to interpret contemporary issues in light of the theological and ethical commitments of different religious communities.
- Students will describe and assess the theological, philosophical, and conceptual premises underlying religious beliefs and practices.
