Support Seton Hall
I could not be more pleased — and honored — to take the reins as vice president for University Advancement at this time in Seton Hall’s history.
I am impressed at how truly engaged the Seton Hall community is at all levels on and off campus. On campus, there is always such a buzz, whether it’s the soccer and baseball teams working out at Owen T. Carroll Field or the sound of students and professors engaged in lively discussions.
Beyond the campus, our 70,000-strong alumni remain engaged. Attendance at our regional alumni events jumped 60 percent in the last year.
That alumni remain deeply engaged with Seton Hall is also evident in the 40 percent increase in the number of you who have contributed to the Seton Hall Fund thus far this year.
We are truly grateful for your support as volunteers, ambassadors, athletic team enthusiasts and benefactors. I look forward to getting to know you, learning your personal stories and, together, creating a shared future for all Setonians.

Why Giving Matters
When you give to Seton Hall, you affirm that the legacy entrusted to you is worth preserving and passing on to new generations of students. No matter what amount you give, you are investing in the future — our future.
Your giving is also an important measure of engagement and a vote of confidence in Seton Hall. Alumni giving helps to influence our placement in the annual ranking of colleges by US News & World Report.
The support you provide also has a direct impact on day-to-day life at Seton Hall. It helps make attending the University more affordable and enhances both the services students receive and the facilities in which they live and learn; it improves academics and the quality of life on campus.
Gifts to the Seton Hall Fund
The majority of the support to the Seton Hall Fund is allocated to programs that directly support students, and much of it goes to instruction and financial aid. The support is allocated into three main areas:
