Christmas at the Hall

In this holy season, we join in a spirit of joy and generosity to celebrate our faith in the Christmas traditions at Seton Hall. These events bring us together as a community and help us offer others a portion of the gifts we have received as members of the Seton Hall family.

On November 28, 2023, the annual tree lighting ceremony took place on the green with the Seton Hall community in-person and virtually. Watch the livestream recording below:

 
 

Seton Hall is #1 at Christmas

Student in front of Lit Christmas Tree There is no shortage of Christmas events at Seton Hall University. The season kicks off with a Tree Lighting Ceremony. Throughout the weeks following, there is carol-singing, Crèche blessings, a pancake breakfast with Santa, Jazz Band Christmas Performances, Lessons and Carols, and University Christmas Parties. Festivities abound, Best College Reviews continually rates Seton Hall as #1 for our holiday spirit.

The Hospitality of Advent: Daily, Email Meditations

Advent WreathIn preparation for this season of hope, love and joy, sign up for daily reflection emails from Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology! DOVE Toy Drive

Young female wrapping a giftDuring the  Christmas season, DOVE provides gifts to several schools and agencies in Newark, the Maplewood South Orange School District, and the Don Bosco Youth Center. Each year, members of our Seton Hall network donate upwards of 1,500 toys for children in need. We then sort, wrap, and load the gifts into the DOVE vans. It's your generosity that makes this all possible. Please consider making a monetary gift or donating a toy for a child in need. Thank you for continuing to be a part of this Christmas miracle.

Rock the Socks

Rock the SocksWe’re keeping it classic this Christmas season for our Rock the Socks initiative! With two refreshed designs and an exclusive ornament designed by a current Pirate, this initiative is the perfect opportunity to support students while spreading holiday cheer and snagging more socks to add to your collection.
