12 Acts of Christmas Kindess

Share Your Christmas Kindness Story, Or Nominate a Fellow Pirate Who Inspires You

The 12 Acts of Kindness initiative encourages all members of the Seton Hall community – students, faculty, employees, alumni, parents and friends – to perform 12 acts of kindness throughout the holiday season that may change a life, make a family’s Christmas a little brighter or simply put a smile on someone’s face.

Please fill out the form below and let us know how you performed your 12 Acts of Christmas Kindness - or nominate someone you know who has inspired you with their selfless acts. We are looking to spotlight and share these stories during the holiday season.

Here are some examples of simple ways you can give of your heart this Christmas. Feel free to perform any of these acts or to come up with your own:

  • Participate in DOVE's Toy Drive
  • Join the Macy's letter writing campaign for the Make a Wish Foundation
  • Write your mom a thank you note for all she's done for you
  • Donate a coat at the SHU coat drive
  • Volunteer with one of DOVE's year-round initiatives
  • Send Christmas cards to soldiers overseas through the Red Cross
  • Give to a campus food drive (or any food drive)
  • Donate blood
  • Volunteer at your local soup kitchen
  • Pick up trash you see in the street
  • Give to the Dreamscape Foundation (founded by a Seton Hall student)
  • Pick up groceries for an elderly person
  • Walk the dogs at a local animal shelter (and pet the kitties)

Join the movement today and help make this holiday season full of joy and kindness!
