Gerardo Contino y Los Habaneros, Cuban singer, song writer and band leader, will lead a lively performance of music in a joyous celebration of Salsa and Jazz. The Gerardo Contino y Los Habaneros band is highly acclaimed for its Salsa and Jazz performances throughout the Americas and Europe.

Celebrating its fifth season on the Jazz ‘n the Hall series at SOPAC, the Seton Hall University Faculty Jazz Ensemble is widely recognized and acclaimed by the University and the general public for its energetic, entertaining and educational jazz performances.

The Alpha Boys ska band reigns from the Alpha Boys School in Kingston, Jamaica lead by school alumni Sparrow Martin. Alpha’s music program has produced some of the world’s most respected and skilled musicians. Jazz men like Dizzy Reece and Jo Jo Harriot as well as ska pioneers Don Drummond, Lester Sterling, Tommy McCook and Cedric Brooks not to mention reggae singer Leroy Smart and drummer Leroy Wallace, among many others, have all called Alpha their home at various points in their development. 

Tickets may be purchased from the SOPAC box office at $25 for general admission, $15 for senior citizens, and $8 (with SHU ID) for University faculty/staff. All Jazz 'n the Hall concerts are FREE to SHU students with their SHU ID.
