Jazz 'n the Hall Concert Series

Unless otherwise noted, all tickets may be purchased from the SOPAC box office at $25 for general admission, $15 for senior citizens, $8 (with SHU ID) for University faculty/staff, and $8 for Non-SHU students with ID.

All Jazz 'n the Hall concerts are FREE to SHU students with their SHU ID.

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All Stars

Begun in 2009 by retired Denver, Colorado high school band director Dr. Ed Cannava, the student musicians of the highly selective DJC Youth All Stars are extremely energetic and entertaining!



 

Come and experience the future of the art of Jazz through the performance of the Denver Jazz Club Youth All Stars! Begun in 2009 by retired Denver, Colorado high school band director Dr. Ed Cannava, the student musicians of the highly selective DJC Youth All Stars are extremely energetic and entertaining! Specializing in New Orleans and Chicago style traditional jazz music, the Youth All Stars also include pop tunes, vocals, and choreography in some of their arrangements – all from memory! Having performed in concert tours for several years to great acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, this past summer, the DJC Youth All Stars performed in the Montreux, Switzerland Jazz Festival, and in the Assisi Performing Arts Music Festival in Assisi, Italy.
