SHU Marches in 2014 NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade
Parade your Pirate Pride up 5th Avenue with us, as we represent Seton Hall at the largest and most-watched St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the world!
On Monday, March 17, 2014, Seton Hall University will participate for the second time in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade! Last year, we had a fantastic turnout, and this year we expect even more students, alumni, faculty, staff, administrators, and families to attend.
The schedule of the day follows:
||Registration table opens in main lobby of Bishop Dougherty University Center. If you will attend the 12 Noon Mass before boarding the bus, please register before Mass.|
||Mass in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception|
||Registration table closes in main lobby of Bishop Dougherty University Center. Board bus.|
||Bus departs for Manhattan. Prior to departure, each participant will be given a light lunch to eat on the bus.|
||All marchers (from bus and those meeting our contingent in NYC) assemble at Parade marshaling area. (The confirmation page you'll see immediately after purchasing your ticket will tell you where to meet our group.)
||Board bus for return to Seton Hall. (Please feel free to bring a snack to eat on the return trip.)|
||Arrive at Seton Hall.|
A limited number of seats are available on the charter bus leaving from and returning to campus. Register for your spot today! Tickets for the bus ride to and from the Parade include a bagged bagel lunch, giveaways on the bus, and a commemorative Seton Hall University NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade sash. Tickets are $15 through February 28 and $20 from March 1 through March 7. Register using the form on the right side of the page.
For those who will not be joining us on the bus but will be meeting us at the marshaling area in NYC to march with our contingent in the Parade: please register using the form on the right side of the page. The $10 registration fee includes a commemorative Seton Hall University NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade sash.
After you register, you will receive an email that details the dress code, meeting places, and other information that you will need to participate.
